Lucila Cionci & Rodrigo "Joe" Corbata
They are internationally acclaimed Tango Maestros and have been special guests at the very first Dubai Tango Festival. Since then, they have returned for numerous editions, making them beloved and frequent visitors in Dubai's tango scene. With decades of teaching and performing across prestigious festivals and shows worldwide, Lucila & Joe are celebrated for their unique artistry, deep musicality, and charismatic presence.
Their classes have inspired dancers across the globe, distinguishing them as leading figures in Tango for festivals and shows worldwide.
Claudia Codega & Esteban Moreno
They have been devoted for more than three decades to tango as a popular dance, a stage art, and a cultural form of transmission. Their work combines the heritage of traditional the tango salon with a constant search for precision, musicality, and quality of movement. They belong to the generation that learned directly from the great Milongueros of Buenos Aires when tango began to flourish again after the 1980s.
They have trained several generations of professional dancers in Argentina and worldwide, sharing a method that combines rigor and naturalness, heritage and modernity. Since 2021, they have been part of ENTA (Espacio Nacional de Tango Argentino) of Argentina's Ministry of Culture, supporting the training of young professionals. They have also served as judges for the Tango World Championships organized by the Buenos Aires City Government and various international branches.
Fernanda Grosso & Alejandro Ferreyra
Renowned Tango dancers, maestros, and choreographers from Buenos Aires, celebrated for their elegant style and deep connection. Directors of the acclaimed Tango Desire Company, with a career spanning prestigious theatres, festivals, and tango houses in Argentina and around the world.
Together since 2007, they have performed globally - including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East—and have shared the stage with iconic tango orchestras and singers. Dubai is not new to them, Alejandro and Fernanda bring a legacy of teaching, performance excellence, and authentic Argentine passion.

Salvo D'Urso
With over 32 years of experience behind the decks, Salvo's deep passion for music shines through in every set he plays. He discovered the world of tango two decades ago and has since become an integral part of it — both as a dedicated dancer and as an inspiring tango DJ.
Since 2012, his signature style and meticulous attention to musical atmosphere have lit up milongas and festivals across the globe — from Catania to Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Östersund, Dubai, and beyond. Wherever he plays, Salvo brings an unforgettable energy that moves both hearts and feet on the dance floor.
Aliya Kuanisheva
An international Argentine tango teacher who dances both roles and has a deep, intuitive connection to music. Recently, she began a new chapter as a tango DJ, quickly gaining recognition for her distinctive style and musical sensitivity.
Aliya has a genuine love for both the Golden Age classics and contemporary orchestras. She enjoys experimenting with music, adapting it to the mood of the dancers on the floor. Her sets are known for their emotional depth and subtle energy shifts that guide the flow of the milonga.
Listeners often say she has a unique musical voice — a personal signature that continues to evolve. For Aliya, DJing is not just about playing tandas; it's about creating an atmosphere, telling a story, and inviting dancers into a shared experience through sound.

They are Champions of the 4th TangotoCUP Istanbul 2024. Both Colombian dancers and choreographers with more than 20 years of experience living in Dubai and teaching tango among many other dances. They have participated as special guests, judges, and workshop leaders at various festivals around the world.
Gina Medina has been listed as one of the most important artists in her country. She is the director and founder of the renowned academy and producer of Alma de Tango Shows in Bogota. Javier Sanchez has been champion & runner-up National as well as finalist in World Cup in Buenos Aires 2008. As a choreographer, he has formed & prepared companies & couples to become champions.

These talented artists are the organizers of the renowned Argentine milonga in Dubai, La Brava Milonga. They bring the essence of Buenos Aires to the desert sands, captivating audiences with their passion and skill.
